  2. Introduction Hello, Our names are Flash Flooding in Colorado, Waldo Canyon. We are going to tell you about the steps we took to finish this project. It is called the Engineering Design Process. Hope you enjoy!

  3. Problem The flash flood goes into the near by city or town and collects dirt and brings it to the near by city or town and pollutes the towns fresh water lake were they get there water. Also a flash flood is so powerful that it can destroy a car witch makes the gas leak out of the car so the gas can leak into a lake or river polluting it. The flash flood also collects trash and brings it to a lake or river.

  4. Ask We asked our self what the problem was. At first we all said that the water was just getting dirty. Then we came to a conclusion that when the water comes out of know where it is dirty water. So when it is dirty it goes in to clean water and also makes that dirty! And then the water goes into the houses.

  5. Imagine Then we imagined that there was a wallthat blocked the water out of the way.

  6. Plan So we added a few things to the idea. So the new idea was to add 2 houses and cracks in the ground. We also wanted to make a ditch so the water will go in the ditch and there will be filters which the water will go into. Then the water will be cleaned by filters and transferred to peoples houses or the rivers.

  7. Create! We took our ideas off of paper and put it to work. We built the wall, then we built the ditch. We then added the 2 houses then the cracks in the ground. The supplies we needed were : Clay,Paint,Play-Doh , Cardboard ,Paintbrushes and Popsicle sticks. The thing we needed the most is……TEAMWORK!!!!!

  8. Improve We improved the project by adding detail to our work and adding a pipe and filter to bring clean water from the flashflood to the people to use.
