Disposal of unavoidable packaging as follows... Waste Separation 1998 Weißglas Restmüll Biomüll Leichtfraktion Metalle "Gelbe Tonne" Buntglas Waste paper such as newspapers, magazines, books, catalogues, advertising material, cardboard, exercise-books, uncoated gift-wrap paper. The paper may be coloured and glossy but may not be bound with plastic. i.e.: liquid cartons of juice. Glass (packaging) Waste glass either clear (white lid) or coloured (green lid) such as bottles, jars. No window panes, mirrors, crystal or glass reinforced with metal. Metals such as aluminium cans, tin cans, bottle tops, jar lids, tin foil, aluminium yoghurt lids, metal tubes. Only packaging made of metal - no other metal objects. Waste synthetics, laminated materials, wood, ceramics, textil fibres such as juice/milk cartons, plastic packaging e.g.: yoghurt beakers, cling film (saran wrap), plastic drink bottles, cosmetic jars and other ceramics (pottery), coffee packaging, washing liquid bottles, biscuit & noodle packaging, meat & sausage wrapping, cigarette boxes. General waste such as babies soiled nappies, light bulbs, window panes, crystal glass, mirrors, cat litter, waxed paper, sanitary articles, rubber items, cold ash and soot, toys, leather articles, household items, shoes, ruined clothing and textiles. No environmentally sensitive materials. Biodegradable waste such as kitchen scraps, garden waste, tea bags, coffee filters and suds, fruit & vegetable refuse, leaves, flowers, potted plants, grass and bush cuttings, weeds, bones, egg shells. No liquid leftovers e.g.: oil, soups, sauces, juices. If available, the ÖKO-Box should be used to collect the rinsed out Juice/milk cartons. ÖKO-Box Problem materials such as • medicines, paint, pesticides, spray cans, batteries, fluorescent bulbs etc. must be collected and disposed of separately. • Contact your local council/municipality for the dates of problem waste collections and for the local disposal address.
