  2. Background of company • The idea of starting a company came from three friends that were out eating dinner one day. They were talking about their backgrounds with dirt biking. According to the three girls they all had very little experience but had always had an interest in dirt bikes. All three of them were business majors and through talking came up with the idea that they should start a business of their own: a company that would sell dirt bikes and also repair them. This was only the start of a big adventure for the three girl friends. They began to build and construct their company one step at a time until they accomplished their goals and produced a well-rounded dirt bike company they decided to name Wild Road Dirt Bike Store.

  9. Microsoft Dynamics POS This system was designed for independent retailers. It helps with the inventory management and reporting, automated transaction processing start-to-finish, and it helps to track customer information and maintain detailed customer histories. Microsoft Dynamics can give users information that will allow them to make good decisions and lower the costs. It helps the retailed store operation throughout the supply chain and its easy to use as well as it can be used with existing microsoft business products already owned. • Point of sale ( POS ) operations • Inventory management, control and tracking • Pricing, sales, and promotions • Customer management and marketing • Employee management • Customized reports • Information security • Accounting integration Web integration

  10. Who uses Microsoft Dynamics The system can be used with most retailers that have less than 25 locations. Some of the companies that can use this system are companies like convenience stores, furniture stores, drug stores, restaurants, and cafes.

  11. How we will use Microsoft Dynamics The Microsoft Dynamics POS system offers both CRM and ERP systems integrated into one, so we will be able to maintain our internal business and supply chain, while also maintaining customer relations. The system has a feature that will allow us to create unique shopping experiences for our customers. Microsoft Dynamics has a secure payment feature that will allow us to take payment from our online users, which is fast, reliable and secure.

  12. How we will use Microsoft Dynamics Another feature we will use is the inventory management feature. Since we have many different products and suppliers, this inventory feature will help us maintain our current inventory, while also alerting us to what needs to be bought and what is not selling well that maybe could be retired from our product line. We will also be using the industry standards support. This feature will allow for us to connect with a card swipe reader, printer and many other hardware. This will make for a positive in-store experience for our customers.

  13. How we will use Microsoft Dynamics The Microsoft Dynamics POS also will help us forecast trends and retail opportunities. This combined with our education will help make our business a success. Since Microsoft Dynamics POS has both ERP and CRM systems we will be able to effectively manage our supply chain and have excellent customer service.

  14. Pros and Cons Pros: • uses similar format as other microsoft programs • good for small to medium sized retail stores • efficient Cons: • not designed for multi-store environments (limits expansion) • does not manage customer accounts receivable • does not manage gift cards

  15. Price of Microsoft POS Price: $965.00 (One-time payment)
