  4. The meteorologist on the news usually tells us the high and low temperatures for the day.The temperature changes during the day- even more if a storm comes through.

  5. Where does the meteorologist get the data when they report the temperature? They read thermometers throughout the day so we know what the temperature is: Daily Temperatures When we get up

  6. Temperature Changes When we leave for school While we are at school When we get home When we go to bed

  7. What feels cold? What do you think feels “cold”?

  8. What feels hot? What do you think feels “hot”?

  9. How might heat cause change? (Think about an ice cream cone on a hot day!)
