  2. Tax Reform • Based of Reagan’s 1968 tax reform package. • Eliminate Alternative Minimum Tax, Lower and simplify the personal income tax. • Reduce the corporate tax by 10%. • Territorial System of Taxation • Removing the tax on our own companies if they outsource • Keynsian System

  3. Regulatory Reform • Repeal President Obama’s Health Care plan. • Repeal Dodd-Frank. • Simplify the FDA approval process. • Fight back against the EPA’s regulatory overreach.

  4. Energy Independence • Start harvesting our own fuel in the U.S. and Canada. • Work on converting coal into liquid fuel. • Allow an equal chance for any alternative fuel opportunity.

  5. Trade • Free trade agreements with Japan, India, and Taiwan. • Support the Doha Development Round of World Trade Organization Negotiations. • Complete the Trans-Pacific Partnership. • This will open up the markets in Australia, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, and Vietnam to U.S. goods.

  6. Success • We think this plan will succeed because it’s taking trade back into the American economy, but at the same time it’s keeping some foreign trade. • He’s extremely moderate in his plan. • It could get passed by both parties because it is extremely moderate and can appeal to both democrats and republicans.

  7. Groups Effected Benefit Hurt EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Wall Street • The Middle Class • ACE (American Coalition for Ethanol) • Alternative Energy Interest Group • Small Businesses Owners

  8. Opposers Of The Plan • Call him too much of a moderate in his ideas. • Say he’s not a true republican. • The FDA plan is increasing the risk of having dangerous food and drugs. • The EPA plan would hurt our environment and have bad consequences.

  9. Publicity • Make a Facebook page for it, but simplify it first so people can understand it. • Publicize that it’s based off Reagan’s Tax Reform plan, everyone loves Reagan! • Going on talk shows that cover his plan positively.

  10. Success Strategy • Pledge support to potential congress candidates that will approve his bill. • Travel around and make the people aware of the bill and encourage them to write to their representatives about it. • Be open to small changes and be willing to negotiate it.
