  1. My Hero By Kate Woodard

  2. Who Is My Hero? • My hero is my mom. Her name is Joanna Prigen. She is my hero because she has saved my dog’s life! ( My dog is very important to me. ) She also saves other pet’s lives, too. I am proud of her. She is proud of me, too.

  3. My Hero’s Jobs • My mom has lots of jobs, from getting ready in the morning, to going to bed at night. But, even when she doesn’t want to, she dose them the best she can. Her first job, her work, is to go take care of animals. Her second job, her volunteering, is Kawaniis. It is a club that helps the needy, and, it hosts programs like Pancake Day, or Stuff The Bus. She is the best mom ever!

  4. Who Is A Hero? • My hero, my mom, says that a hero is someone you look up to. I agree with her much, because she is my hero, and I look up to her. I am proud to have someone that heroic in my life to look up too. I think she’s really proud that I look up to her, too.

  5. Events In American History • My mom thinks that the most important event in American history is 9-11. Why? We thought we were safe in America. But, when the terrorist attacked, we knew that even though we were in a free country, we could still have dangers.

  6. Growing up • Growing up, my mom lived in Richardson, Texas. She went to Dartmouth Elementary School, and Texas A+M Collage. At Texas A+M she met dad. I think my mom really liked Texas A+M.

  7. Dream Job • My mom, growing up, wanted to be a forest ranger. By then she was too young to realize that her real dream job was to be a veterinarian!

  8. How Do You Feel? • “ How do you feel that I chose you for my hero?” I said to my mom. She told me that she felt proud, honored, and happy. That moment I knew what she meant. I knew exactly that she loved just being my mom, even if that did mean that she couldn’t be others hero’s.

  9. My Hero At Kiwanaiis My mom was so interested in helping people, she did something that got an award!

  10. Cat that swallowed heart ear ring My mom had to do surgery on that cat. It’s lucky to be alive ( and have no ear ring inside him!)

  11. “ The Doctor Will See You In A Minuit.” This is dog is only one of my mom’s monthly patients. He may look sad, but he’s actually happy it wasn’t shot month!
