  12. 2.Alarm Mode: • Users can choose to have notifications sent to the phone whenever the camera detects motion within the detection range. An alarm will sound from the camera each time a notification is sent. • When camera is triggered, the device will ring and simultaneously a notification will be sent to the user’s phone with the alarm sound. • The home page of the app has a “Message” button to allow users to check playbacks of each video from each time the alarm is triggered. Users can check the “Alert” button to set this notification. (Note: A Micro-SD card is needed view playbacks of the alarm video).

  14. 4.Offline Video Storage: There are two working modes of the camera(one is the ‘Network Mode’, the other is ‘Offline Mode’).Users can choose ‘Offline Mode’ if Wi-Fi is not available). When choosing the‘Offline Mode’ on the application, the camera will disconnect Wi-fi automatically and work as a video recorder.(Note: a micro-SD card must be inserted)

  16. Most IP camera binding method • Most IP cameras on the market are bound with a QR code on the product(pictured below). The QR code is public which can lead to the camera being easily hacked, thus compromising user’s privacy.

  17. 6.Privacy&Security Communication Security Part: 1.All information request method is “post”,which improves the security of communication. 2. Token Authentication Mechanism: The server sends every a token, when phone/users interacts with server, the client platform must be with the token, otherwise, the request is invalid. This is to avoid malicious request. 3. Request timeout mechanism: The timeout mechanism will be added in all requests from phone client platform, server will not handle timeout request. This is to avoid malicious request. Data Security Part: Symmetric & asymmetric encryption is utilized and designed to improve the security of data. 2.The encryption mechanism of the video data is asymmetric encryption.

  20. Motion Detection • Send Notification Will be activated and have screenshots when an object moves or somebody breaks into your home after the function is turned on. Will NOT keep sending notifications when object continues to move, but will take screenshots. Will send notification and take screenshots again if object moves after staying static for 3 minutes.

  21. Visitor Call Visitor presses button and Q-keeper sends live video feed. You receivean alert on your smart phone. And the wireless chime or indoor monitor will also ring. Even if the visitor doesn’t press the button, you will receive the alert.
