  3. What improvements will be made to the school buildings? Our main goal of this bond issue is to address the critical needs of our aging buildings. Those high priority improvements are as follows: The roof on the elementary building has outlasted its life expectancy with many leaks. The proposed new roof will add insulation to the structure preventing moisture from entering the interior of the building in the future. The boiler system in the junior high and high school needs to be replaced with a new energy efficient, high capacity system. The exterior walls of both buildings are in need of repair and brick replacement. Tuck pointing, brick replacement, foundation repair and sealing the surface of the walls is necessary to keep moisture out of the building. One can easily see these deficiencies by walking around either building; especially the high school.
