Member Service Priorities • MAST will offer outstanding value for money • No increase in subscriptions • More discounts for members • Development of new features • ‘Fair use’ policy for public sector members • More Partner Membership • Discounts on subscription and training • Local flexibility to make the most of membership • All users will become Power Users

Subscription Policy in 2011/2012 • There will be no increase in any tier of the basic MAST subscription rates for 2011/2012 • 30% Prompt Renewal Discount • For Purchase Orders received by 27 April 2011 • Additional Partner Member discount • Group of members which includes Public Sector • 5% to 15%, depending on number of members • Subscribe with a single transaction • Members can be invoiced in either current or next financial year as desired

User Support Priorities • Conference will be an annual event • Free DVD with supporting material available • Detailed user feedback • Member priorities derived from web questionnaire • Steering Group could continue to meet • Support for regional user groups will be assessed • Feedback about online content welcomed • Wiki • Forum • Video tutorials on DVD and/or Online

Training Policy in 2011/2012 • Bespoke courses • Date, venue, delegates and content arranged by members • No increase in the daily rate of £895 • 30% Prompt Renewal Discount if booked along with renewal • Additional Partner Member discount of 5% to 15% also applies • £100 overnight surcharge may also apply • Standard courses • For members who need to train only a small number of users • Content covers all aspects for those with no prior knowledge • Date and venue will be arranged by RSA • £145 per delegate per day • Course will run with 5 to 12 delegates

Development Priorities – Planned • Geography down to SOA level for STATS19 data • IMD information for Drivers and Casualties • Additional report templates • Vehicle data such as engine capacity and age • More dimensions to provide choice in analysis: • Crash Involved … such as Foreign Registered Vehicle • Casualty … of Related Vehicle such as Manoeuvre • Opposing Vehicle Type for two vehicle crashes • Vehicle First Hit analysis • Latitude and Longitude

Development Priorities – DfT Choices • Separate cubes based on Quarterly updates • Details derived from VRM, such as make or model • Contributory factors • Factors grouped or separate, for example Injudicious Action or Disobeyed ATS • Analysis available for other measures, for example Crash Involved … or Casualty … by Related Vehicle • CRASH as a national data source in future

Development Priorities – New Features • Report results expressed as percentages • Reporting relative to traffic rates • By authority areas • By link on strategic roads (would require HA data) • Reporting relative to population • By police, authority and/or super output areas • Mosiac Profiles based on age and/or gender • Indices allow for age demographics of base population • Fixed age bands

Development Priorities – Bespoke • Individual police area data services • Export from back end of CRASH or other local systems • Displayed in separate tabs as alternative to RCGB data • Customised secure access • Enforcement data • Export from local systems • Related to STATS19 data • Full Mosiac profiling • Other support to address local priorities
