  2. Why do I need the Battery-Informer? For many years, battery users have wanted to know when their batteries were about to fail when they were at risk with their backup battery systems. The Battery-Informer solves this problem with it’s easy to use, accurate and cost effective battery State of Health indicator (SOH). It allows users to rapidly understand their batteries SOH 24/7.

  3. How does the Battery-Informer Work? It is recognized around the world and by IEEE that Ohmic test readings give a highly accurate indication of the state of health of a battery. The key to accuracy in Ohmic testing is having an accurate baseline value, accurate Ohmic reading from the battery and the knowledge to analyze the data. What Mega-Power has created is a cost effective, smart and easy to read individual battery Ohmic test device. This stand alone reader is connected to the positive and negative terminal and accurately measures the battery’s health status. The Battery Informer is smart and self learning. Over a period of weeks it self learns the individual batteries Ohmic baseline. No more estimates of what the baseline might be.

Then, every minute the Battery Informer measures the internal resistance and trends the changes against the individual battery’s baseline and analizes the batteries state of health: “good”, “warning” or “fail”.
