  17. Mary, the mother of Jesus - • open to hear from and be used by God • faithful wife, willing to submit to her husband • gave good advice: "Obey Jesus"

  18. Mary, the mother of Jesus - • demonstrated ongoing concern for her son • witness of the death and resurrection of Jesus • a praying disciple
