2. The Constitution We the Martians of Athix, here by state that in order to form a more perfect colony, insure domestic tranquility, establish justice, and promote welfare. We do establish this constitution for the colony of Athix. The purpose of the government established for Athix, is to make sure that the Martians of Athix have the necessities they need, and are properly isolated from Earth. The Man is responsible for the care and well being of the Martians of Athix. The Man is responsible for all decision-making regarding the colony of Athix. The Man has a cabinet of Advisors who aid him in decision-making. The Man chooses his own cabinet of advisors; The Man also chooses his successor. It is not within The Mans ability to change and re-write the laws to better suit his vision for Athix. The Colony of Athix has strict laws. We the Martians of Athix do not follow the laws of the colony the punishment will be most likely death. The Laws of Athix are as follows: ·Murder – Punishable by death. ·The Possession of Weapons – Punishable by death. ·Drinking under the age of 15 – Beaten. ·Disturbing of the Peace – Punishable by death. ·Black Marketing Goods – Punishable by death. ·Speaking Negatively About The Man – Smacked upside the head. ·Illegal drugs (Same drugs are illegal in the USA and Athix) – Punishable by death. Plotting and/or attempting to overthrow The Man – Beaten to the point to death then thrown into space.

3. The Constitution The education of the youth of Athix shall be conducted through a government-funded public school. The students will be separated into twelve learning levels. The main mandatory classes include: • Mathematics (Basic math, Pre- Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Calculus, AP Calculus) • English • Science • Physical Education • I Hate Earth 101 • Job Experience • Farming • Green Housing • Aerodynamics • Theater • Languages • Geography • History • Technology The Martians of Athix will continue to study in the field of there choice for up to four years after graduating from the 12th grade. Health Care is of vital importance, which is why the colony of Athix will provide free ER visits (except when surgery is involved). Scheduled check-ups and doctor visits will be twenty dollars and scheduled surgery will be charged according to the severity of the operation. Food will be for the most part grown and raised on the planet of Mars with in our colony. We will have green houses for growing plants and indoor farming facilities for raising livestock. The police force will be in charge of finding and distributing punishments to law breaking Martians. The Colony of Athix will train everyone in how to protect the colony from invading forces.

4. Type of government Our government is an autocracy and is ruled by a Martian known as The Man. The Man is able to choose his own cabinet of advisors and a successor. The Man makes all the decisions for the colony, but he gets advice from his successor and cabinet before making his final decision.

5. The MAN The man is responsible for the care and well being of the Martians of Athix. The man is responsible for all decision-making regarding the colony of Athix. The man has a cabinet of Advisors who aid him in decision-making. The man chooses his advisors and his successor. It is not within the mans ability to change and rewrite the law to better suit his vision for Athix.

6. Taxes Tax Items: 5% 1. Oxygen 2. Water 10% 3. Alcohol 4. Tobacco We aren’t going to tell the Martians about the tax, it is only written in the Constitution, and if you look at it you will be killed.

7. How will our government distribute jobs? • Jobs are on a first come first serve basis. • The government will decide which jobs are available for Martians to have.

8. How will shelters be built and food gathered? • Construction workers are responsible for building every building in the colony and are paid by the government to do this. • Food is grown inside greenhouses and there will also be some indoor farming. However packaged foods, such as chips and cereal, will be sent over from earth.

9. Health Care • Athix will have all the necessary health care offices such as hospitals, eye doctors, etc. • All visits to the doctor are free, but scheduled checkups are $20 per person. • The amount of money you pay for a surgery will just depend on the seriousness of it.

10. Police and Military • There will be a police force within the colony to enforce laws and help maintain the peace. • There will also be a group of an elite police force who will handle bigger situations.

11. Major Laws • Murder- punishable by death • Possession of weapons- punishable by death • Drinking under the age of 15- Beaten • Disturbing the peace- punishable by death • Black marketing goods- punishable by death • Speaking negatively about The Man- smacked upside the head • Importing illegal drugs from somewhere in the universe- punishable by death • Plotting to overthrow the man- beaten to the point of death and then tossed into space

12. Resolution of Disputes Martians need to settle disputes on their own because if you go to the authorities you will be killed.
