  3. BT want to install high speed broadband across the country. There is a debate about the cost of such a project – especially in rural areas. The local community of Woodthorpe want a satellite link but have been told they will have to raise they money for a fibre link if they go through BT. BT says a fibre link is better and more future-proof. Compare the benefits, drawbacks and features of wired and wireless communication systems.

  5. Present to the town council if you believe Woodthorpe should have a wired or wireless broadband link. The town council will be asking questions and challenging any decision made.
