  4. There are 20 teachers on the school and 200 students on the school. There are 2 on each course. Our teachers on the International course are called Hanne and Frederikke. Apart from International, Hanne teaches us Danish and she teaches some of us German. Only some of us learn German, because it’s an optional subject. Frederikke teaches us math.

  5. We have also got a canteen on the school. They serve fruit, candy, sandwiches, pizza buns, cocoa, juice, tea and coffee. It all has a fair price. There’s also a water fountain that has ice cold water, if you’re not in the mood for cocoa, juice or whatever. There are also daily newspapers, so everyone can catch up on the news everyday.

  6. The school also provides a library and about 50 computers and some laptops. You can also borrow headsets, cameras, calculators, tape recorders.

  7. This school was opened 10 years ago. For 9 years, Bo Palle was the headmaster of the school, but this years it’s a new headmaster called Carsten Bott. Carsten is a cool headmaster, because he doesn’t act like he’s above the rest of us, he sometimes pops in during classes to say hi.  Carsten Bott The principal

  8. Our year at the school can be stressing but doable. The 2nd week of the year, the whole school goes to this camp site-like place. The point of this is to get to know each other better. The last night of the trip, all the classes each does some kind of performance in front of the whole school. We danced to the Danish anthem and we did kind of a cheerleader-dance to Lose Control by Missy Elliot, because Dado from our class is a cheerleader, so she taught us.  You also have 3 weeks during the first 6 months where you do some kind of project or report on 3 different subjects: Danish, English and Math. About a month before Christmas, you have to weeks of work experience. You can go out and try a job, go visit some kind of college or you could stay at school and study a subject. In October our class was told that we were going to exchange life stories with a Spanish class (you) and we worked on that project for some lessons and also in our spare time. In the beginning of December we went to Germany for 4 days and learned about Berlin and historical moments and buildings of Germany.

  9. A couple of weeks after New Year we had 2 more weeks with work experience. The whole school is now working on what we call OSO which is a big project where you have to write about your choice of career and do interviews and stuff. If you don’t complete this project, you’re not allowed to enter the exams by the end of the year so it’s important to do it. In the end of March, we’re going to Spain as you know. The whole school is going abroad that week but different places. Then we have the exams.
