Obviamente Gedeón ya había mostrado su fe en Dios. • IV. Gideon chosen by God to be a liberator. 6:11, 12, “valiant warrior.” Obviously Gideon had already demonstrated his faith in God.

They thought they were surrounded by a great army, killed each other and fled.

  31. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel • Un detalle muy importante: 7:21, “Cada uno permaneció en su lugar alrededor del campamento”. No corrió. No huyó. • A very important detail: 7:21, “Each one remained in his place around the camp.” Did not run. Did not flee.

  32. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel • Conclusión. El pecado era la causa de sus problemas. Estaban oprimidos porque se habían apartado de Dios. Siempre es así. • Conclusion. Sin was the cause of their problems. They were oppressed because they had departed from God. This is the way it is always.

  33. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel • Si hubieran seguido fieles como en los días de Josué, si hubieran dicho lo que Josué dijo (24:15), nada de esto les habría acontecido. • If they had remained faithful as in the days of Joshua, if they had said what Joshua said (24:15), none of this would have happened to them.

  34. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel • Rom. 15:4, hay lecciones valiosas en esto para nosotros. El apartarse de Dios siempre produce problemas, dificultades, miseria. • Rom. 15:4, there are valuable lessons in this for us. Turning away from God always produces problems, difficulties, misery.

  35. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel • Con pocos fieles Dios puede hacer cosas grandes. Sansón… David… Luc. 12:32, “No temáis, manada pequeña”… Trastornaron el mundo… • With a few faithful God can do great things. Samson… David… Lk. 12:32, “Fear not, little flock..” They turned the world upside down.

  36. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel • Cuando quebraron los cántaros exponiendo las antorchas, sonaron las trompetas y gritaron, los enemigos se llenaron de espanto y panico. • When they broke the pitchers exposing the torches, sounded the trumpets and shouted, the enemy was filled with fear and panic.

  37. Gedeón – Uno de los Jueces de Israel Gideon – One of the Judges of Israel 1 Tes. 4:16, “el Señor mismo descenderá del cielo con voz de mando, con voz de arcángel y con la trompeta de Dios”. ¿Qué harán entonces? 1 Thess. 4:16, “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.” What will they do then?
