  • Fats should not be eating every day. Fats should be eaten once a week because they cause weight gain.

  • You should have 2-3 servings of dairy a day.

  • Servings means you should eat at least one of the types of food for however many portions.


Protein foods are

  • You should have 2-3 servings of protein foods per day.


Vegetables are
Vegetables are:

  • Dark green vegetables

    • Broccoli, spinach, romaine lettuce

  • Orange vegetables

    • Sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin

  • Starchy vegetables

    • Corn, green peas, lima beans

  • Others

    • Celery, onions, cabbage, okra, tomatoes

  • You should have 3-5 servings of vegetables every day.

    • You should have 2-4 servings of fruit every day.
