Entry of this virus in human body dominates the immune system and the capability of human body and cells become week, ultimately leading to the destruction of immune system. Immune system works in alliance with the immune cells of our body to provide defence against the infections (bacterial, viral, fungal) and other opportunistic infections. When this virus HIV attacks our body, it destroys the immune cells leading to the non functional state of immune cells that creates an environment which is not capable of fighting against this virus and the immune system is collapsed. The exposure to this virus can be due to many reasons or causes, like, sexual intercourse with anonymous partner, multiple partners, impure blood transfusion, any accidental trauma, wound or injury during any surgical procedure by needles, or other instruments. Anyone can get infected by this virus irrespective of gender, age, race, profession and who you had sex with. In case when exposure to HIV infection is treated within 72 hours of possible exposure, by PEP (post exposure prophylaxis), one can save his/her life from becoming HIV positive. HIV treatment by PEP is the golden chance to prevent one from becoming HIV positive. The success rate of PEP treatment is 98% if starts as early as possible within 72 hours of possible exposure. www.pepforhivtreatment.com

  2. PEP for HIV Treatment | Early Signs of HIV In case when exposure to HIV infection is not treated within 72 hours of possible exposure, and is delayed, then within 2-3 months early signs and symptoms of HIV can be appreciated by the infected person himself/herself and the investigation reports also shoes the positive result for HIV. In such cases PEP treatment is not indicated, as the treatment protocol for such cases is different. There is no short course of medicines for patients who are HIV positive. The treatment is continued for life and the life span becomes less due to the collapsed immune system and the attack of around 30 opportunistic infections to body. figure: symptoms of HIV www.pepforhivtreatment.com
