What We’ve Learned So Far… • We don’t know enough about what our students do with iPads • There needs to be a review/appraisal of apps • More emphasis on practice • More emphasis and research on mobile information literacy
Mobile at the Hospital • 75% of U.S. Physicians own an iPad, iPhone or iPod • There is a Major Emphasis on Using Mobile Devices to access EMR • Terry Survey: 90% of Physicians Want Mobile Access to EMR • Many Physicians Report That Mobile Devices Improves Workflows and Improves Patient Care.
