Strategy 1 degree in 2010?

  • Research & plan as quickly as possible

  • Decide on number of applications & your priorities

  • Compile shortlist – how many?

  • Check closing dates to establish timescale (November for some)

  • Do forms/CV in draft form & get feedback as soon as possible

  • Top tip - don’t choose all household names!

Strategy 2 degree in 2010?

  • OR – do nothing now!!

  • Wait until after finals & then start

  • Graduate Recruitment Fair – May

  • Summer workshops – CV’s, Interview Skills, Finding a Job in Edinburgh, etc.

  • But…..you’ll get what’s left over & may need to take some time out by default!
