  2. Uniti-Group Mission • The Uniti-Group mission is to determine the need of diversity within the faculty and find solutions and/or strategies in the hiring process for faculty members. We will analyze the faculty and the student make up and determine the need of diversity. We will interview faculty, social groups, & the student body to determine their views about a diverse faculty make-up.

  5. Graduation, Retention, and Transfer Rates Go to the Department of Education's Navigator Web site at www.nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator. The site has important information about colleges, including college costs, admissions policies, what financial aid is available, and their graduation, retention and transfer rates.

  6. Issues & Problems • The Uniti-Group issue is the lack of diversity among the faculty at the Minneapolis Community & Technical College. The student population at MCTC is continually growing. The student body at MCTC is diverse and it is imperative that the faculty resemble the student body. The college environment is not set up for the students that are currently being served. The MCTC administration must consider a cultural radical structural change that includes the student body in order to educate successfully the entire student population.
