  10. “If you can’t eat it, don’t wear it.” – Gary Young

  11. Common Misconceptions Concerns arise on the proper usage of essential oils based upon the quality of oil used and the school of thought being taught.GermanBritishFrench

  12. Three Ways to Enjoy Essential Oils Internally – in a liquid or a vegetable capsule Rub topically on location, with or without a carrier oil Breathe through the nose and through diffusing into the air

  13. Neat vs. Diluted Diluted means that the essential oil is mixed with a carrier oil – a fatty vegetable oil such as Almond Oil, coconut oil, olive oil, or V-6. • Nearly every Young Living oil can be used neat because it is 100% pure. This means you can apply oil to your skin straight out of the bottle.

  14. Why Dilute? • With therapeutic essential oils less is more. • Cheaper • Works like a time release capsule • Greater surface area is affected

  15. Diluting Cools Some essential oils are “hot.” To cool an essential oil add a fatty vegetable oil. Never water, because oil and water don’t mix.

  16. How Do You Dilute?
