  2. Overview • A federal-provincial investment with an endowment from Cisco Systems included a significant contribution of its TelePresence system to UWinnipeg.  • The endowment will fund a research Chair in Collaborative Technologies

  3. The Solution • TelePresence: • is a fully immersive, high definition video and spatial audio experience.   • Yet this is much more than traditional video conferencing: • an interactive real time broadcasting network experience is created • life sized images: the “Goldilocks effect”
