The idea emerged a year ago; there are all preconditions for its realization after adoption of the national Strategy of rural development.

OBJECTIVE:increase competitiveness and households income by organizing producers, with the quality and quantity of their products, labels of origin, geographic origin, traditional specifics.It is part of the agricultural and rural development policies through so called "Quality policy“, one of the priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

A prerequisite to protect the products at the EU level.

CILJ:

Udruživanjem proizvođača, kvalitetom i kvantitetom proizvoda, oznakama o porijeklu, geografskom porijeklu, tradicionalnim specifičnostima povećala bi se konkurentnost i prihodi na gazdinstvima.

Dio je poljoprivredne i politike ruralnog razvoja tzv. “ politike kvaliteta“ koje predstavlja jedan od prioriteta Ministarstva poljoprivrede i ruralnog razvoja. Preduslov da proizvode zaštitimo i na nivou EU.

Why Niksic Zupa?

medicinal plants, forest fruits, mushrooms, wild hazelnuts, rosehips, blackberries, hawthorn, wild garlic, wild apples and pears, as well as oak.

By associating producers and creating a brand - label we will solve the problem of product placement.

Voćarstvo: jabuka 9009, šljiva 18846,drijena 35250,višnje I trešnje 6150 stabala…

Stočarstvo:goveda 2030,ovaca 2680,koza 521 grla…košnicapčela 730 kom.

Povrtarstvo: 599 ha pod krompirom, 430ha pod zasadomkupusa I drugihpovrtarskihkultura.

The largest local community in Montenegro, with about 6000 inhabitants 1081 households Pomology: 9009 apple, plum 18846, 35250 buckthorn, cherry and cherry trees 6150 ... Livestock: cattle 2030, sheep 2680,goats 521,beehives 730 pcs. Vegetable crops: 599 ha of potatoes, 430haunder crops of cabbage and other vegetables.

TRADITIONAL PRODUCTION:

pitted fruit brandies fermented inwooden barrels.

vinegar from fruits of wild and cultivated apples in wooden barrels

potatoes and carrots and their traditional storage in earth clamps

Grinding of native varieties of maizein mills.

Što smo do sada realizovali?

Well known Zupadairy products: cheese Prljo, high fat cheese, double cream from Lukavica and Stitovo. Traditional dishes: steam boiled meat with quince or apple, boiled nettle with maize with “skorup”, mangel,wild garlic salad...

Prepoznatljivižupskiproizvodi od mlijeka: sir prljo, punomasnižupski sir,skorupsaLukaviceiŠtitova.

Zupa has all the necessary resources for implementation of the proposed idea.

The potential for agricultural development: localknowledge; quality and quantity of products; climatic and geographical features; tradition of more than two centuries in production, processing and storage of agricultural products; objects, land and mechanization of agricultural cooperative "Zupa"; five mills for grinding flour.

The potential for eco-tourism development: plateau of about 1200m above the sea level Krnovo, Lukavica with 365 springs, Stitovo, Buavice…
