    • Method A: uniaxial cyclic compression test with confinement

    • Method B: triaxial cyclic compression test

  • British Standard BS 598-111

    • Unconfined uniaxial loading test

  • Internal Shell protocol

    • Performed on the NAT

    • Sample size 100 mm Diam 60 mm Height

    • Normal stress100kN

    • Temperature50°C

    • Pulse time 0.2s loading + 1.8s rest

    • 2x9 cores 90mm diam (not 100mm)

    • Layer sawing in order to have

      • Surface layer 2x30mm thick

      • Base layer 60mm thick

    • 2 slabs

    • Coring

    • Layer sawing as for LAVOC
