  3. Why I chose My Animal? I chose my animal because it looked cool.

  4. Appearance A warthog has awesome characteristics. A warthog will sometimes look the same as a bull. A warthog has long horns and a body that can help it hide in the dirt and dead grass. But the horns on a warthog are actually not useful. With all of these characteristics I think they will do great in the wild.

  5. Habitat Do you know where a warthog lives? It lives in Savannas and open grasslands. But warthogs will only live in places where lions don’t live. They also live in other warm places but only in warm places because they are cold blooded. These places are important for warthogs to live because they are cold blooded.

  6. Diet Do you know where a warthog lives? It lives in Savannas and open grasslands. But warthogs will only live in places where lions don’t live. They also live in other warm places but only in warm places because they are cold blooded. These places are important for warthogs to live because they are cold blooded.

  7. Family • Do you know how many different kinds of warthogs there are? There are 19 different species. A warthog can have up to 18 babies. A mom leaves its kids when they are babies so they can grow up on their own. It is important for the Mom to protect them until they aren’t babies any more.

  8. Predator/ Prey/ Adapt • Danger! Danger! Stay away from leopards. Leopards eat warthogs and try to fight with them but warthogs just run away because they don’t like to fight. Warthogs hide in dens when something is coming. Leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, dogs, crocodiles, and lions are the most dangerous to warthogs. Leopards need to stay away from warthogs so they can stay alive.

  9. Interesting Here are some facts about warthogs. An African warthog has 19 different species. Warthogs can go for months without water. African warthogs are adaptable. This means they can live in most places. All of these characteristics will help warthogs stay alive and make them interesting to learn about.
