  1. TRANSPLANT TOURISM & ORGAN TRAFFICKING

  2. D3 GUS 2013 Yasmin A Gabriella Rabiatul A Bertila Sheila A Bwi Bandang Egie R Dhita D Rocci J Rika N Ryan Rachmad

  4. What do you think of the argument: Patient’s “I need the kidney, I have the money”, donor’s “I have the kidney, i need the money” • Undang-Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 36 tahun 2009 tentang KesehatanPasal 64 • Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 18 Tahun 1981, Tentang BEDAH MAYAT KLINIS DAN BEDAH MAYAT ANATOMIS SERTA TRANSPLANTASI ALAT DAN ATAU JARINGAN TUBUH MANUSIA • Pasal 17 • Dilarang memperjual-belikan alat dan atau jaringan tubuh manusia.

  5. Real victim in organ trafficking Sebagian besar kasus trafiking selalu berkaitan dengan latar belakang kesulitan ekonomi.

  7. If there is one kidney that match with 2 person in need : - 25 y.o with no health insurance or - 65 y.o who able to pay for all cost ??? ANSWER 25 y.o with no health insurance

  8. Why? • “A widely used and approved criterion of selection is to give priority to those who have great need and who are expected to benefit greatly. In spite of the success of transplants, care must be taken not only that they extend life biologically, but that they also offer the patient a real chance for a healthy life. The new organs should add new years to life, and help to provide a new and better life.” Dilihat dari segi imunitas, coping with the new organ. Masalh biaya, bisa dicarikan asuransi.
