  4. Work we are leading • Past work – on website (enterprise support in E. Germany, etc…) • Current work: • Enterprise support (large and small) in Italy – Alberto and Daniele’s work • Innovation support in 8 EU countries • Enterprise support packages in Northern Ireland

  5. Work package 2: innovation support • Innovation support, using available data • Patents/invest as target, firm data (eg Amadeus) to construct CFs, beneficiary data from MAs • In 7 countries (CZ, ES, FR, PL, SK plus Flanders, Wales, London) • Intended as pilot, but working better than hoped • Results to be presented in Warsaw on 12 December

  6. Work Package 3: Northern Ireland • « Opportunistic » study using existing database, beneficiary surveys • Review and comparison of various forms of enterprise and innovation support • Results will be available on our website
