  • Per the California Streets and Highways Code 670-695, Caltrans has the authority to issue encroachment permits to an applicant if the work is conducted in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the Department.

  • A NEW Encroachment Permit application was created in order to streamline and expedite Broadband facility installation.

  • The new application, titled “Broadband Facility Installation and Use Request Application”, may be accessed at:
