  4. What is this shape? It has two long sides. It has two short sides. It is a rectangle!

  5. Can you see a shape around the face? It has only one side! It is a circle!

  6. Can you see another shape with only one line? It has only one side but is not a circle! It is an oval!

  7. 6 Can you see this shape in the window? It has 3 sides. The sides can be different lengths. Or the sides can be all the same length. It is a triangle! How many triangles can you see?

  8. 3 What shape can you see in this wood? It has 4 sides. It has 4 corners. Is it a square? No! It is a diamond! How many diamonds can you see in the wood?

  9. What shapes can you see in this fireplace? 2 circles! 2 rectangles! 2 ovals! And a curved shape across the top!

  10. What shape can you see in these boards? Rectangles! Circles don’t fit together! Why not have boards in the shape of circles?
