  1. LoudCloud: Responsiveness Current versus All

  2. LoudCloud Forums allow for 2 different view options, • Current and All.

  3. When an instructor goes to the Tasks tab and clicks on the Forums option, the view defaults to the Current forum list. • The Current view reflects only those students topics and posts that are posted in last 7 days.

  4. To view all student topics and responses that originated prior to the last 7 days, click on the All forum view, then on Question to Instructor (or Individual Forum).

  5. To ensure instructors are responding to all student questions and concerns within a 24-hour timeframe, it is imperative to click on the All view prior to entering the Individual and Questions to Instructor Forums.

  6. Upon entering the classroom, the Current tab (which is the default view) shows there are 5 unread posts in the QTI Forum. However, after clicking on the All tabular view, you uncover that there are actually 7 unread student posts waiting to be addressed!

  7. GCU Faculty are required to respond to all student questions in the Questions to Instructor forum, Individual Forum within 24 hours (Online Faculty Checklist – LoudCloud version). • To meet this commitment, instructors must click on the All view prior to entering the Questions to Instructor and Individual forums to ensure they respond to all student questions/concerns within 24 hours.
