  1. How to Take Care of Men’s Belts: Three Golden Rules

  2. Cleaning your Belt Belts are just like shirts, pants and shoes. They need to be cleaned and maintained. The first thing you can do to clean your belt is to wipe off dust and other mildew that might have found its way onto your belt’s delicate surface. To give your belt a longer life, you can also wash it with a saddle soap. Washing the belt allows it to restore its freshness, just like when it was initially bought. Once the belt is washed and rinsed, it is advisable to wipe all moisture off the belt, again to prevent mildew formation. Lastly, leave the belt hanging comfortably on a belt rack or cabinet. Letting Your Belt Rest Just like a pair of shoes, a belt deserves a break every now and then. That is, it should not be used 7 days a week. Thus, it is important to have 2 or 3 working belts, so that you can interchange using them. That way, you are not only lessening the wear and tear on your belts, but you are also switching styles too. Let’s be honest; a good belt is easy to find. However, keeping a good belt is much more difficult. Make the task easier by following these three tips. Take care of your belt, so it takes care of you too.
