  11.  Slum development: Rapid growth of slums with noservices – no electricity, no plumbing, no trash pickup Calcutta, India

  12. Unemployment: City businesses don’t have enoughjobs to employ people as fast as they arrive. So they earn money howevertheycan.

  13.  Health problems: overcrowding, with limited city services, leads to unhealthy lackofsanitation.
