Facility Insight: Financial Assistance Assessment for Colorado Public Schools

The Facility Insight program, commencing in July 2016, aims to provide up-to-date and accurate information on the facility needs of Colorado public schools. It builds on the Financial Assistance Priority Assessment conducted in FY2009-2010, identifying a growing capital need of approximately $17.8 billion by 2018. The program follows a targeted state refresh every 2.5 years, with a 1-2 day site visit by CDE assessors who will verify the assessment results.   2. History FY2009-2010 Capital Construction Assistance Board (CCAB) was tasked with a Financial Assistance Priority Assessment of all Colorado public schools as part of the 2008 BEST Act Used the Public School Facility Construction Guidelines for data points in the existing database 2
