  3. Incubator?

  4. Accelerator?

  5. terminator?

  6. Clarity!

  7. co-workingspace Solution?

  8. Doesn’t take any equity participation in a company • Free office co-working space and facilities (WiFi, coffee, meeting rooms, regular pizza/sushi, nerve guns…) • Puts a time limit on your stay (12 to 18 months) • Gives startups an academy model à la carte: events, keynotes, workshops, …) • But they are expected to be active in the community and help other startups. • Provides 1:1 coaching by Partners and experts if needed (both IRL & online) • Most Partners are on site • Strange conclusion: Start it would be a free, not too fast, accelerating incubator in a co-working space.

  9. The Start it academy model From idea to seedable business 12-18 months Graduated Startup becomes Alumnus and takes role of mentor ‘pay it forward’

  10. A few of our heroes 36 startups: active in tech, social media, mobility, platforms, data mining, UX, sharing economy, up cycling, events, travel, arts and crafts, apps, community, industry, energy and drones. Here are some of them.

  11. It’s all about what you need!

  12. Think about the location • Think about the support you need for your startup • Think about your engagement: are you willing to pay / give away shares, or be available to help others • Think about timing •  then make your choice • (don’t worry, there are more startup initiatives than startups ;-)
