To sort the grid, simply click on the column header. Click the header once to sort ascending (arrow points up) or a second time to sort descending (arrow points down). There are also simple search boxes that allow you to narrow your search on the fly. Click the drop-down arrow to view a distinct list of values for that column. When attempting to save as HTML or XML, a new window will be displayed. In your browser menu, click “File” then “Save As…” to save the exported data to your hard drive. 22. Fox Valley Metrology Group's Online Certifications Find Your Certifications Buttons “Print” opens the standard print dialog. If you send the grid to your printer, it will print all rows within the selected grid, not just what is displayed in the page you are currently viewing. “Copy” copies all grid rows to the clipboard. From there, you can paste the rows to such things as Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and even an Outlook email. “Columns” opens a form that allows you to specify which columns you wish to view in your grid. Fox Valley Metrology Group's Online Certifications Find Your Certifications Buttons “Sort” opens a new window that allows you to specify advanced multiple sorting criteria. “Help” opens a new window that describes much of the functionality that is covered in this demonstration as well as several other advanced features. “Config” opens a form that allows you to specify some advanced grid configuration options such as maximum number of rows per page. “View all calibration records” is a link that will allow you to view the history of your gage calibrations. This window allows you to specify multiple or dynamic criteria to narrow down your search. 7/4/2005 Remember to consult the help page for a detailed explanation on all of the search criteria options. Here, you can tell the grid to display all gages that are due for calibration within a specific location (for example). First, select “Between” for Cal Due. Then enter the date range in the boxes to the right. For dates, you can also display a calendar and select the days dynamically. Please help me with this page. View all calibration records. This window allows you to change which columns are displayed in your grid. Hidden columns appear in the “Available” window and viewed columns appear in the “Selected” window. You can change which columns you want to see by selecting the left and right arrows. You can change the column order with the up and down arrows. Click “Apply” to activate your changes. To do so, simply select your column then click “Add”. Once you have added a field, you can specify whether you want the field sorted in ascending or descending order. The “Page Size” option box allows you to specify how many rows per page you wish to be displayed at one time. “Filter Type” allows you to change the way the drop-down search boxes are populated. “Simple” uses all distinct values in your database. “Composite” uses only the values that apply to the current data within the grid. You can update the information about your gages through the website. When you click the Gage ID a form will display that, when submitted, will update information about your gage. You will be able to modify such things as the ID, Make, Model, Serial Number, Locations, etc. If you would like this functionality enabled for your company, contact one of our IT professionals. If a gage gets moved from one location to another, you can change it in the database within seconds. A new internet browser window will be opened and will connect to UPS's website. The tracking number you clicked will automatically be displayed in the browser without any extra typing or navigation. The order status grid functionality is identical to the calibration records functionality. The only difference between the two is different data is displayed. Refer to the help pages for assistance. 33. Fox Valley Metrology Group's Online Certifications Due and Overdue Reports Due and overdue reports use the “Find your certifications” page to display the requested data. All functionality and data is the same. The only difference is that we set additional default search criteria for you. “Which of your gages will be due?” sets a default Cal Due range of the next calendar month. “Which of your gages are currently overdue?” sets a default Cal Due range of less than today’s date.
