  3. Daniel Boone got his first gun at age 12. He spent a lot of time hunting with it. At age 19 or 20, Daniel Boone joined the USA army in the French & Indian War. Picture Credit: www.ghseed.com/

  7. On May 1, 1769, Daniel Boone left his wife at home to go exploring with John, and 4 other men. In 1774, Daniel Boone built a log cabin in Kentucky.
