  2. PIIRS 2019 – What is PIIRS? PIIRS is CARE’s single platform for collecting, accessing and reporting relevant information about the work. It holds annual data on the reach and impact of CARE’s projects and initiatives around the world since FY12, which allows us to: Inform the public, donors, staff and others, on the breadth and depth of CARE’s work; Allow CARE staff to obtain and summarize data, for multiple uses inside and outside the organization; and Motivate the improvement of quality in our information and our MEL practices, globally. Assess progress against the priorities and commitments of the CARE2020 Program Strategy.

  3. PIIRS 2019 – What is the process? The essence of PIIRS is the collection, access and reporting of COUNTRY, REACH and IMPACT data via the 3 PIIRS forms. These forms define the core content of PIIRS and allow for the harmonized collection of data for telling different stories from our work. For instance: The locations where CARE works and the composition of CARE's staff around the world. The direct and indirect participants reached by CARE in different parts of the world or in the multiple outcomes/themes/sectors that it addresses. The extent to which CARE incorporates its approach and roles in programming: gender equality, inclusive governance, resilience, innovation, strategic alliances for scale-up of successful models, etc. The lasting changes that CARE and its partners are contributing to, in the life of women, men, boys and girls, both quantitatively and qualitatively

PIIRS 2019 – Reach Form Responsible: Programme Lead with support from DMEL Team Requirements: Project Basic Details (name, start, end, budget, donor, contact person) Project specific details (goal, location, target population) Target (direct (#men+boys, #women+girls], indirect [#men+boys, #women+girls]) Results (direct (#men+boys, #women+girls], indirect [#men+boys, #women+girls]) Sector Baseline and Evaluation dates Advocacy Details (yes/no) Gender Score (scale) Governance Score (scale) Resilience Score (scale) Type of partners (ngo, ingo, government, private sector, etc.) Comments (changes compared to previous year, success, lessons-learned)

  7. Gender, Resilience, Governance Gender CARE International established the CARE Thailand office in 1979 responding to the refugee outflow from Cambodia. In 1997, CARE Thailand moved to register as a Thai organization Raks Thai later became a member of CARE International in 2003, being the first member from a developing country. Over 765 projects since establishment, with a total program expenditure of over USD $120+ million.
