  4. TRIAL TAKEN FOR ACHIEVE POSITION From the beginning ,we had machined these flywheel housing on HMC , First time we achieved Dowel position up to 0.15 mm. Change resting (increase contact of resting face) , Control flatness, change clamping . after this got same result above. After that change manual clamping by torque wrench & Control flatness, after this improved result by 10%. There was improved in position, but SFL In-house rejection was near about 22 %. Then we decided to go for SPM with Fixed spindle head for getting better accuracy in CD Dimn. ZANVAR GROUP OF INDUSTRIES

  5. TRIAL TAKEN FOR ACHIEVE POSITION After that on SPM ,with manual clamping we improved result by 15%. But position was out of print. Also we had change clamping with hydraulic, Control flatness ,But still there was no major impact on the position. We requested to JD for help on this matter. JD Experts visited at our work for resolving this issue. We jointly taken lot of efforts and improved result 10% . But still position not achieved ,as per print. Our in-house rejection is more than 18% And, it is continuously interacting this matter ,with JD . ZANVAR GROUP OF INDUSTRIES

  7. DISTANCE EFFECT Case -1 At engine side Center distance is 275 mm the position is given 0.025 . Case-2 Transmission side the Center Distance is 406 mm position given 0.025. In above both case, there is no consideration of length effect. SFL requested you, please give position tolerance by consideration length as per Std. ZANVAR GROUP OF INDUSTRIES

  8. FLATNESS EFFECT Flatness for the face is given 0.25 mm Now we consider the ideal condition with zero flatness & zero CD. Flatness will be affected on CD. ZANVAR GROUP OF INDUSTRIES

  9. OTHER EFFECT’S ENVIRONMENT EFFECT Temperature , during day & night CHECKING EFFECT Checking points difference and CMM Variation at SRF & JD. PRESSURE EFFECT Damages in transits, Load of other jobs. ZANVAR GROUP OF INDUSTRIES

  10. TOLERENCE OF THE OTHER SAME COMPONENTS Customer :- Escorts Ltd. Component:-Flywheel Housing Diameter:- 13E8 (+0.032/+0.059) Center Distance is given :- 232 ± 0.035 i.e. Position is :- 0.070 mm ZANVAR GROUP OF INDUSTRIES
