  1. How to Log in to your CVCS issued laptop

Requirements • CVCS issued Laptop • The Laptop must be have been charged or plugged in to an Electrical outlet • Your should have your student’s Windows login information • The username is your student’s first name, a period, your student’s last name and ‘@cvcschool.org’. Example: ‘james.smith@cvcschool.org’. • Note: The username ends in ‘@cvcschool.org’. The username/password aka login was sent to the primary parent/guardian. • WI-FI turned on and the WI-FI device must be connected to the internet

  3. Press the power button

  4. If you see this screen, use your finger and swipe up or tap the ‘enter’ key.

  5. Enter the student’s CVCS username in the area under ‘Other user’. The username is your student’s first name, a period, your student’s last name and ‘@cvcschool.org’. Example: ‘james.smith@cvcschool.org’. Note: The username ends in ‘@cvcschool.org’. The username/password aka login was sent to the primary parent/guardian.

  6. Enter the student’s CVCS password in the area that says ‘Password’. Then click the ‘Enter’ key on the keyboard.

  7. If you have successfully entered the username and password, Windows will bring to the Windows Desktop If not, check ensure that the username and the password is correct. If that does not work, either email helpdesk@cvcschool.org or bring the laptop into the learning center. The IT Office is open on all learning center days during school hours.

  8. Temporary Password Expiration • Please note that if you request a password reset, it is only good for 90 days. We strongly encourage that you change the temporary password with a password that you or your student can remember.
