  2. Are you interested in Good Distribution Practice (GDP) training? Through relevant GDP training, you have the best opportunity to acquire better Good Distribution Practice knowledge. However, before diving into a better understanding of GDP training, let us have first an overview of what GDP is. GDP (Good Distribution Practice) refers to the quality warranty system dealing with the guidelines necessary for appropriate distribution of medicinal products for human consumption or use. It involves requirements for purchasing, receiving, storage, and exporting of medicinal products. With the help of GDP training, people who are involved in the distribution of medicinal products can maintain and improve their GDP knowledge which should result in reduced mistakes and risks. The UK regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) expect the continual professional development of the Responsible Person and that all staff have initial and ongoing training in GDP. Most business owners realise that good training will benefit their company. GDP TRAINING CENTRES Today, there are a number of consultancies and training centres that offer training sessions for GDP. The training courses should be specifically designed to match both professional needs and business models, but many of them offer generic, off the shelf products that are irrelevant to the trainees, or contain very high level information that does not assist in their GDP journey Interested individuals or groups could choose whether they want to take their GDP training at the training provider’s office or whether the training provider brings the training to them.

  3. These training centres offer training options either an onsite training for warehouse staff, cleaners, drivers, sales staff, administrators or an advanced GDP training course for RPs and managers. WHAT IS INVOLVED IN GDP TRAINING? The Paradigm Shift intensive GDP course involves a full day of training that will cover all 10 working chapters under the EU GDP Guidelines 2013/C 343/01. All chapters will be covered in detail on what is expected and what the text means, how to maintain compliance and the expectations of the MHRA. Once trainees completed the training course, they are expected to: Have a better understanding with regards to the basics of GDP for medicinal products intended for human use and a clearer view of the current legal guidelines and regulations
