BLOODHOUND Education Programme • Sits at the heart of the project to inspire the next generation of Scientists, Technologists, Engineers and Mathematicians around the world. • An experience for every level of education, from Primary Schools to PhD students with a range of teaching & learning materials being developed throughout the project to support STEM subjects. • Inspires schools, teachers and students from around the world to collaborate and share ideas with each other sparked by the BLOODHOUND Project within the Bloodhound Blast communities on the Dendrite Social Learning platform. • Engagement to date: • 4,834 Primary & Secondary Schools in the UK • 273 Further educational colleges in the UK • 500 International schools We are looking for partner schools… 2

What do we offer… • STEM Workshops: • Aerodynamics & Fluid Dynamics • Forces • Statistics & Big Data • Engineering Problem Solving & Teamwork • Building Rocket Cars • Computer Science Workshops: • 3D Printing (Additive Manufacture) • Control Systems & Programming • Augmented Reality • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) • Telemetry (DynaKars) Inspiring and interactive!

Training Hub Requirements • A space to house the BLOODHOUND Road Show including full-size interactive Show Car (see Logistics) and capacity for 120 standing students. • Space to run 4 workshops 4 times each day for 30 students in each room – with 2 rooms requiring AV (projectors/speakers) • A space for 120 students to eat packed lunches. • A space to provide up to 2 twilight training sessions each week from 4-6pm for teaching staff, to deliver sustainable engagement and CPD sessions. • A space to train local BLOODHOUND Ambassadors in advance of the events in order to support schools Bloodhound experience up to and beyond 2016 and aid local business networking. • A further 4 members of staff from the host and/or visiting school will be required each day to support the workshops and learn about them. • Open to running a Bloodhound community Saturday for local families.

Logistics • FULL-SIZE INTERACTIVE SHOW CAR: • Weighs: 1 tonne* • Length: 13.5m (breaks into 5 sections) • Width: 2.5m • Height: 3m • Construction: Fabric and internal frames with integrated touch screen and back projection technology in each unit. Power supply will be required. • The Interactive Show Car arrives on a trailer and van. There must be sufficient space available for temporary parking. • * Once in position the experience cannot be moved. • OTHER: • Full show set up time is approximately 4 hours. • Events where necessary will be manned by Bloodhound SSC Team members. • On site Risk Assessment should be carried out by the organising school. Health &Safety documents regarding the show kit is available from Stella Diamond and will be provided during planning.
