  • The Educational Resource Information Center

    is an online digital library of education research and information.

  • It is sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education.

  • It has more than 1,200,000 records.

  • It links to more than 100,000 full-text documents.

  • A record is a citation, or information about the document. For example, the title, the author, the name of the journal, the page numbers; 1,200,000 records in ERIC

  • Full-text means the document itself; 100,000 full-text documents in ERIC.
