So, when you see that little gold soccer trophy pop up on your TV screen, magazine covers and fan photos and YouTube videos, it is a sign to take another look at how the things are in Africa these days. Though many celebrities and heroes are working to turn the tide, a global event like World Cup Football may just act as an accelerator to millions of people asking many key questions. There is a lot of news including African Football Newsavailable that you would like to know that what's going on in Africa.

  2. When we can hold those entities of covetousness answerable, we may see a period when Africa and the African people will go up to their full destiny and magnificence as the great source of human knowledge and power. When we are dreaming, let us dream of a golden earth, surrounded by all human kind, sharing the frailness, the trouble and the wealth. Let us keep to our convictions that all people are equally important and that utmost poverty next to such intense wealth cannot be granted in a sane world. While billions is spent for the World Cup Football Tournament in South Africa in the particular year, will we ever actually know where all that money goes, who is being profited and who pays the bill? School budgets have been cut, layoffs of gov't workers, public service employees, and teachers. It is a closed book to many, how the people of Africa could possibly be further victimized and taxed to pay the bill for hosting the World Cup, building a huge world class stadium and all the new roads and infrastructure needed. It is also the hope of many that a new light of appreciation and understanding of the African people will shine as a result of the worlds attention focusing on them in a more positive and more celebratory way for that short window of time.

  3. If you are traveling to Africa for the football games, take a good look at the people, not just at their difficult situation. Though many are poorer; you will see the power of love, belief, courage and resilience pouring from their beauty, music, dignity and compassion. The people are the true stars of this event. Do not miss out on experiencing their incredible culture! Well this is unbelievable! When it comes to Africa, you can't envisage a place or people so surprised in the history of the world. It is challenging to me that though all of this has been talked about for decades, there are some flaws still on-going today. Whenever you hear anyone try to talk about what is required to change or to re-balance the people & economies of the African countries, you will always just hear exculpations for why it can't ever be fixed. "Too many people want help and the world is simply not enough". "Too many other cultures to put together and combine for the common purpose". "Too much corruption in government." The excuse list goes on, but there's no need to write them all down.
