  1. By Amy Ouyang 5/6HK Robotics in Japan! Welcome to my presentation ... Robotics in Japan Enjoy....

  2. What are Robots? HOW MANY TYPES OF ROBOTS ? Robots are man made devices that move automatically. They are designed by computer about what jobs they will be desighed for. Robots can do jobs that many humans can do but is also made to help humans with there jobs. People work as robot inventors every single day. Different robots are made nearly every year. There are thousands of different types of robots.

  3. Questioon 1... Imagine.... How much did each Japanese robot cost for Australia?....... Money!

  4. Answer: Robot are an expensive object. People with ordinary jobs may only have a slight chance of actually buying a robot. The cost of robots are increasing time by time. From 54.5 billion dollars in 2010 to 70 billion dollars by 2025. Who knows what the price will be when it’s 100 hundred years later? Maybe it’s cheaper because there’s more factories by then. Who knows?

  5. This picture shows a Japanese person testing the mind reading robot. Will mind reading robots be in Australia by 2025? One of our newest inventions is the mind reading robot.is the mind reading robot that was invented by HONDA research Institude( which was also the company that made ASIMO). It has been on the news recently is you’ve heard about it.It is the first time that a human and a robot can communicate successfully. It has just been invented recently (2008 to 2010 approx). Rather than paying a fortune teller to see your future you pay amind reading obot which is possibly more precise. It is believed that the mind reading robot would be available in Japan by 2020 and would be avaliable(but not on sale) by 2025.

  6. What types of Japanese Robots are in Austrialia and How are they used in Austrialia?

  7. DID YOU KNOW... There are many types of robots that are invented in Japan. Many of these robots come from the car factory HONDA(where ASIMO came from). Robots Used In Agiculture: Many people believe that a robot who can plant seeds and harvest food is quite impossible. Well, they are wrong. People in Japan have invented the Agriculture robots that can pick up apples , prunes, seeds and so on. Mobile robots: These are the robots that you see in hospitals and warehouses. You can also use a mobile robot as a map. How helpful? It is like a GPS. Service Robots: Service robots are usually used for professional jobs or can be a personal assitant. Some of these robots are used for the military, jobs under water and even jobs that are dangerous to humans.

  8. You are now going to learn about me! Yeah! ASIMO dancing. WHOA! Who is ASIMO?

  9. ASIMO... Introduction ASIMO was a real complicated job for HONDA. Plus the help from computers of course. ASIMO probably looks very simple but took more than twenty years to make a proper one, from 1986 to now ad is still developing. What can ASIMO do? Although ASIMO is a humanoid robot, it can do many things that humans can do. Some of the things ASIMO is walk, run, communicate, reconize surroundings and also walk up and down the stairs. ASIMO’s creation ASIMO’s size and height was created to let him move freely in the human living space. It allows the robot to open doors walk to tables and all that. Its eyes in designed as an adult when the adult is sitting on chairs. ASIMO’s height is 130cm which is easy to communicate with others.

  10. ASIMO’s profile

  11. Connections • Many of the Japanese robots have been exported to Austrialia. For example the mobile robot, service robot, industrial robot and even ASIMO. • HONDA was the comanp that invented ASIMO and ASIMO is currently in Austrialia. • Some of the industrial robots( the wheel drilling robots) is used in Japan and those robots are most likely from Japan. • Mobile robots today are used in hospitals in Austrailia. • Robots Used in Agriculture are also robots from japan. They can pick up apples off the ground. Some of the types of robots can even sheer sheep and they are used in some farms in Austrilia

  12. Thank you for listening to my speech. I hoped you have enjoyed an dhave learnt lots about robots in Japan. Created by Amy Ouyang
