My idea was to make a website with pop-ups constantly appearing on the screen – as a further look into this i could use the same technique however use pop-ups that are actually important but see if people notice or whether they close them straight away out of habit.

My idea was to make a website with pop-ups constantly appearing on the screen – as a further look into this i could use the same technique however use pop-ups that are actually important but see if people notice or whether they close them straight away out of habit I can either go in the direction of the mongrel project and deface government websites or news websites. Or use similar technique from adbusters to mock certain websites. This can be related to hacking theories. An example from the starting weeks exercise. The idea of using too much of everything, going overboard and making the screen busy. for example, mock certain Brands of clothing websites. Or certain celebrity websites Technically unlimited Similar to government schemes such as Change 4 Life. Use Adbuster Techniques Website Ideas Fitness & Health Scheme The website takes you through stages, first choose location, then choose a sport you want to play. Then choose what time and wait for people to do the same. 5 Year Plan Website The Website will ask you to submit what you are currently doing (student/finished school/working/unemployed). This will be on a list to choose from. Mongrel Project A project that took famous pieces of Art work from the Tate museum and changed them to make them look like warped images It will then Give you a list to narrow down again what you are looking for (whether its to apply for Uni/find the right job for you) Eg. Find a news report that is not necessarily true or has been manipulated in some way and show the real version of the events. Then it will start to narrow things down for you, such as if its a Uni your applying for it will help you choose the right course and choose from certain Unis. Or if its your dream job it will narrow down your interests and what is right for you then take you at the end give you a series of websites that you can apply for jobs – Or if its for travelling narrow down places to go and travel agencies that you can use. Could apply this to Website – similar to hacking. One idea is I could create a website that is spitting image of a government or news website and use hacks to distort the website and show peoples real views on things.
