  1. Scotland Souvenirs Rule 1: One request per person, first come first serve Rule 2: Management (me) reserves all rights to arbitrarily decide on approval of requests Don’t forget all postcards are also available – there are more postcards than actual souvenirs.

  2. Item #1: This is a tin of Whiskey Fudge. Yep – the Scots seem very fond of the whiskey, being it’s their national drink, so they figured they can put it in candy.

  3. Item #2: Not sure why it’s called Edinburgh Rock – It’s made of fruit and sugar. Not sure how this taste like, so it’s going to be a crap shoot for anyone who is brave enough to try it. If no one claims it, then I will just let you know what it tastes like later.

  4. Item #3: A tin of butterscotch – and no it’s not made of Scots. (Get it? Get it? Ha ha)Okay, so it’s seems a bit of a traditional candy, but who doesn’t like butterscotch? Besides you diabetics, that is.

  5. Item #4: This is an assorted tin, which I am sure it has some whiskey fudge in there.

  6. Item #5: This one is for the drinker. Since I am not one, I could not decide on what kind of whiskey to buy, so the only thing I could think of was to get this trio of whiskey from Glenfiddich, a for sure Scots brand.I thought I ready that the whiskey was not sorted by vintage year because the whiskey is blended with different years. Oh well, like I said, I am not a drinker, so whoever can appreciate this. If not, it will go on my shelf and age another 20-30 years or so.

  7. Item #6: This is a cute one, not sure if I am willing to give it up. It’s a hamish – a Scottish Highland cow. When you see the other pictures, the fur/hair is longer.

  8. Item #7: This is the UK’s telephone and mailbox. Very distinctive.Sorry folks, this is reserved for Tim, he’s been asking me for a real UK telephone booth, this is the closest I can come to getting one.

  9. Item #8: How cute are these? I did not realize until I got home that one is fatter than the other. By the way, you press the bagpipes and it plays a song, still trying to figure out the song, but I have heard it before whenever I hear bagpipes play.

  10. Item #9: Golf ball from St. Andrews, I guess this place is the oldest golf course in Scotland? Not sure, but it seems to be pretty famous. Sorry folks, these are reserved for the golfing enthusiasts of Cousin Dan and Jan S. I mean really, my cousin is willingly getting up at 4am or so to begin golfing at 6am.

  11. Item #10: This one is truly adorable. Unfortunately, this one does not have his bagpipes working. {sigh}However, he is still cool, he is so Scot, that he even had the Scottish flag tattooed to the bottom of his foot.

  12. Item #11: So, these are also hamishes, I do not know the plural for a hamish. Anyways, these are key chains, or you can just keep them around. See how hairy-er or furry-er than the other one. Okay, so I wonder if I am now making up words . . . furry-er?

  13. Item #12: So, who believes in Loch Ness? All the stuffed ones are green, so at least I wonder if it’s a consensus that Nessie, as the Scots lovingly call it, is green or at least green-scaled? Although there have been different interpretations, as you move on to the other Nessies, I bought.If you look closely, this one is kind of more serpent-like, as you look at the body.

  14. Item #13: So, in this Nessie, if you look at the body, it’s more compact and looks more like a dinosaur than serpent.But, either way, both are proud to be Scots.

  15. Item #14: These are a trio of MacPherson’s paraphenalia. (ooooh big word) Why did I choose the MacPherson Clan? No, I have absolutely no Scottish blood in me . . . Or so I think I don’t, unless there’s some deep secret no one in the family is hinting at. Anyways, these are reserved for Mary B, she’s part of the MacPherson Clan. Their motto: Touch not the cat without a glove. Hee hee hee

  16. Item #15: I am not sure if this is a mat of some kind or a handkerchief. But what I was planning on doing is to iron it out and then frame it.So, if anyone would like it, then you can surely take my idea and frame it. Should not be too difficult if I was planning on doing it myself . . . Sort of, was planning on going to Michael’s craft store and see what they can help me with.This one is of the Scottish castles.

  17. Item #16: Again was planning on framing this one. This shows the different tartans around Scotland. I think these are only the really large or important clans. One of the stores says there are over 2,500 tartans, however, many are related to one another through 13-15 main family names.

  18. Item #17: Edinburgh had a thing where artists designed these cows, and then auctioned off. This one I believe glows in the dark. It had to do with the ghosts and spirits living in Edinburgh.Sorry folks, this one is not up for sale.

  19. Item #18: This is one of many T-shirts I bought.Sorry folks, this one is not up for sale.

  20. Item #19: As you can see this is a trio of T-shirts. These will be “sold” individually. These are XXL, but due to the smaller Europeans, I guess, these will probably be equivalent to a XL shirt.As you can tell, I have not broken into it so I could not yet tell how big it really is.(If the one I am keeping, does not fit right, I will probably switch a T-shirt somewhere)

  21. Item #20: So, this one is also a XXL size.

  22. Item #21: This one is a XL shirt, for the smaller people in my life. Ha ha ha

  23. Item #22: I went to see Scotland’s Crown Jewels, also known as the Honours. I saw the real deal, however, no pictures were allowed to be taken. The room was pretty small and their was a guard, so I am sure that if I tried to sneak one, he would have pounced on me. But these are small replicas. These are not for sale.

  24. Item #23: These are a grouping of small magnets. I can break them up, but they look really nice all together. Starting from the top left and moving clockwise, we have terriers, a castle, thistle, bagpiper, hamish, bridge, and an antelope of some kind, oh and Scotland.

  25. Item #24: So, this is a small figurine of Nessie playing the bagpipes. Sorry, this one also does not have any sound to it. Again, the serpent thing to the dinosaur body.

  26. Item #25: This is a small figurine of a hamish playing the bagpipes. Sorry, he’s a little blurry, most be all that whiskey he’s been drinking.

  27. Item #26: A Nessie key chain, you can’t tell, but the Nessie in the middle spins around and the other side has another picture of Nessie.

  28. Item #27: Just a different kind of Ness key chain.

  29. Item #28: These are two of the same figurines of the Loch Ness monster. I am not sure if you could see it, but the face is somewhat goofy looking. Figured that I did not need Nessie to be frightening.

  30. Item #29: This is a figuring of the Edinburgh Castle. This place was pretty big. On the far left, where you see all that space? Well, every year there is the Military Tattoo, where the armed forces put on a show. I have seen pictures and it’s an impressive sights with all in kilts and hundreds of bagpipes going. On the postcards you can see a few shots.Sorry, this is not for sale, it will sit next to my Stonehenge miniature.

  31. Item #30: This is a pretty cool Nessie. If you are wondering, it comes in 4 pieces, that’s the illusion that it’s swimming around or in the water.Sorry, this is not for sale, it will be swimming around my other miniatures.

  32. Item #31: These two googly-eyed Nessies were created by this fellow, forgot the name, who claims to actually see the beast. After, he decided to make some models of them and sells them at the north end of the Loch Ness. I looked around and this is the ones that were not necessarily green, there were blue and purple ones too.Sorry, these are reserved for Jamison and Ashton. Since J likes pink, and A always wants what J has, well, I had to get two. I was contemplating the blue one, but I picked the green one. Should have gone for blue. Item #1

  33. Well, that’s all my souvenirs I bought. I hope you enjoyed the show, and if you would like something, let me know. I did not buy it all for myself, but for family and friends to enjoy what I had experienced.There are plenty of postcards also to choose from.
