Finalize your graduation checklist! • Fill out the 4 year form you are given today. • The lighter writing is a typical plan to use for your assistance in completing this. • If you have had honors or AP please write that instead of the typical plan. • Sign and date. If 18, sign again acknowledging this fact. • You will receive the original back for parent signature once a copy has been made. Parent signature, if under 18, is needed for this graduation requirement.

EVIT After High School • The East Valley Institute of Technology has just received a new policy from the Arizona Department of Education that means you can now go to EVIT for free, after you graduate, as long as you’re under 22 years old. • To qualify, you MUST reside within the boundaries of the EVIT Joint Technological Education District: • http://www.evit.com/district/images/NewMapwithDistricts.jpg • Current EVIT seniors: If you would like to return to EVIT next year tuition-free, fill out the “Returner” form if you wish to stay in the same program or the “Program Change” form if you want to try a new or related program. • Check out the variety of programs at this link: http://www.evit.com/future-students/Programs.cfm. • Go to this link to get an application: http://www.evit.com/admissions/High-School.cfm • Turn in your application and other required documents to the Registrar’s office at the Main Campus.   12. 16 Core Courses • 4 credits of English. • 4 credits of math or through 4th year- one above Algebra II level. • 3 credits of lab science (Ag Science 1 and 2 together equates to 1 lab science credit and 1 elective credit. Hon Science Research is not a lab science). • 2 credits of social studies. • 1 credit of fine art- art, music, drama or dance. • 2 credits of the same foreign language- or through level 2 of any foreign language.

AIMS High Tuition Waiver GPA and Grade Requirement • Un-weighted GPA of 3.5 for core classes. • Only A’s and B’s, no C’s in the core courses. • A “C” in a weighted course does not convert to a “B”. • ACT 28 or higher or SAT read/math 1300 • Valid for 25% tuition at ASU, NAU or U of A for the freshman year. • Subject to change

AIMS Scores for Waiver • Must exceed on Writing, Reading and Math in order to be eligible for the AIMS High Tuition Waiver. • May exceed on any two AIMS tests and meet on the third plus score at least a 3 on any 2 AP exams in order to be eligible for the AIMS High Tuition Waiver. • You may not re-test to exceed your senior year.

  33. Good to Know • If you are planning on going out of state please apply to either ASU, NAU or U of A as a back up. • Going on a mission? Work with the Career Center for a deferment. • Apply for housing in September of senior year! • Fill out transcript request at www.parchment.com.
