  6. Primary Teeth • No.: 10 upper and 10 lower 20 total • Age: 6 months - 2 yrs • Upper teeth: 4 incisors, 2 canines and 2 molars • Lower teeth: 4 incisors, 2 canines and 2 molars

  8. Permanent teeth: • No.: 16 upper and 16 lower  32 total • Upper teeth: 4 incisors, 2 canines, 4 premolars and 6 molars • Lower teeth: 4 incisors, 2 canines, 4 premolars and 6 molars

Take home message! • Tooth brushing prevents tooth decay! • Brush your teeth after each meal and before bed! • Brush + paste • Floss your teeth every other day! • Avoid sticky food as caramel • Eat dessert right after your meal! • Check up on your teeth every 6 months • Do professional cleaning for your teeth every 6 months! • Whenever you feel tooth pain visit your dentist!
