  2. SIMPLE FUTURE What is the simple future? The simple future indicates future actions and states. How do we form the simple future? To form the simple future, we place will before the base form of the verb.

  4. SIMPLE FUTURE Sentence structure… Affirmative sentences: Subject + Auxiliary + Verb + Object Ex.: YouwillvisitRome nextmonth. Negative sentences: Subject + Auxiliary + Negation + Verb + Object Ex.: YouwillnotvisitRome nextmonth. Will not = won’t Interrogative sentences: (Questionword) + Auxiliary + Subject + Verb + Object Ex.: WillyouvisitRome nextmonth? Ex.: WhenwillyouvisitRome?
