  9. What is Rose-Hulman currently doing? • We are in the process of eliminating all aerosol products. • We have eliminated “household” cleaning products such as bleach & vinegar. • We have reduced the number of products in Ready-To-Use bottles. • We have increased our use of Green Seal Certified Ready-To-Dispense Cleaners.

  10. Products & Equipment • All equipment purchased since 2006 meets LEED guidelines on Low Environmental Impact Cleaning Equipment. • All vacuums meet the Carpet and Rug Institute’s Green Label Program requirements. • We have installed touch-less soap and paper dispensers to regulate usage.

  11. Products & Equipment • Our autoscrubbers are equipped with variable rate dispensing. This reduces water and cleaning solution usage. This equipment also meets indoor air quality standards by operating at 67dBA. • Our burnishers are equipped with dust control and operate below 70dBA.

  12. What buildings does this apply to? • All Academic and Administrative buildings maintained by Custodial Services (Facilities Operations) are being cleaned by the Green Seal standards.
